Six years ago, Renee Zellweger chose to leave acting behind while she focused on traveling and finding love. Now, as she prepares to return to the big screen for September’s Bridget Jones’s Baby, the actress has opened up to British Vogue about her time off.
“The past few years have been fun,” Zellweger, 47, says. “I travelled in Asia with a friend, taking a train through Vietnam and walking across the border to Cambodia.”
Zellweger is also happily settled with boyfriend of four years Doyle Bramhall II, who she has known since college. “There is a familiarity between us; that sense you have when you’re with someone and you know you are home.”
