Music speaks to us at all ages, as Tim McGraw recently found out while working in the studio on his latest hit “Humble and Kind.”
“This cute little curly-haired kid…was singing the song and he came up to my daughter…and he tugged her on the arm and said, ‘I listen to this song every night before I go to bed,’ “ McGraw told PEOPLE. “To me, that was the best thing I could have heard.”
The country music superstar, 48, performed the song at Sunday’s Academy of Country Music Awards. He has previously relayed that he hopes parents can use the song as a means to impart important life lessons to their children.
